In oogstjaar 2018 was het erg heet tijdens de zomer. Het plukmoment luistert dan erg nauw, want te laat oogsten levert te rijpe druiven op. We hebben bewust op frisheid geplukt, en dat proef je ook terug in deze Pinot Gris met aroma’s van citrus, rijpe appel en wat kruisbes. Nu al op dronk, maar mag ook zeker nog een paar jaar in de kelder rusten.

The summer before the 2018 vintage was very hot and so the moment of picking the grapes must be carefully chosen as a late harvest will give overripe grapes. We chose to pick them while they were still fresh, and that’s exactly what you taste in this Pinot Gris with the aromas of citrus, ripe apples, and some gooseberry. This wine is perfect as it is now but you can also keep this Pinot Gris in your wine cellar for a few more years.
